Maggie Smith is a Sussex based botanical artist. Maggie shows framed and unframed original paintings, printed table linen, prints and greetings card collections developed from her work. She is inspired by her local surroundings, inspired as much by innocuous flora of the meadows and verges as more stately blooms. Maggie has shown at many fairs as well as The RWS and other galleries this year.

- Fair stand : Yellow Minnow Sketch stand showing original framed paintings, painted tablelinen and greetings card selections. I show at many fairs around Brighton, East and West Sussex and Kent, some of which include Towner, Eastbourne, Water Lane and Pomalo in Kent and The Makers Fairs. I also sell greetings cards to The Garden Museum in London, One Garden Brighton, and La Prieure d'Orsan in France.

In the last 12 months I have been a finalist and sold work in The Royal Watercolour Society Open, have been in 2 group shows at Yardstick Gallery Leamington Spa 'Draw me a drawing' and 'Trug – A growing inspiration', and have been selected for 2 shows at Folkestone Art Gallery 'Spring' and 'Winter' shows and 'The Sussex Contemporary Open 2023.
