ATELIER BESIDE THE SEA

We opened our Gallery, Shop, Teaching and Event Space in June 2021 as covid restrictions were finally (almost) lifted.

Atelier Beside The Sea is right in the middle of Brighton Beach in 3 large arches. Previous uses include a beach front pub, a store for fishing boats and gear, restaurant, left luggage office and briefly public toilets (from which we have inherited our distinctive terrazzo floors).

MINI MADE

The monthly market will have about 22 spaces, spread throughout the 3 arches and weather permitting outside.

Each month there will be a changing roster of makers selling different crafts, we hope to exhibit locals as well as makers from afar who fancy visiting and selling in Brighton – new makers and more established makers.

All makers will be selected to create an interesting and exciting show.

The Mini Made online gallery has details of all makers showing throughout the year, each market will feature 22 from this list (see social media for details of who’s exhibiting at the next market).

We aim for our two MADE events to be the best fairs of their kind in the country. We seek out and select the most original and innovative designer makers in the UK and beyond. A diverse selection of around 120 makers across all disciplines creating an exciting contemporary design and craft fair.
